Jamie came to the UAE in 2013 and spent the following decade advising families across the region, building the relationships and local understanding that Fortis Arbor is founded on. He started the firm in 2023 and today leads both divisions, sitting at the table on capital raises that together run to hundreds of millions of dollars. A husband and father of two, he spends his time away from the office with his family, in the gym or diving, and believes that personal and professional growth go hand in hand.

Duncan has more than 30 years in financial planning, starting in 1993 at a St. James’s Place partner practice and later with AXA and independent UK advisers before running his own firm. In Dubai he specialises in structuring and strategy for internationally mobile clients, including athletes and sports professionals.

Carl joined from Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, where he built investment strategies for Privilege Banking clients from mass affluent to UHNW across GCC and international markets. Before that he spent almost four years as a relationship manager at deVere Group. He holds a BSc (Hons) and an MSc.

Jared began his career at St. James’s Place in London in 2019, progressing from business development to Partner. Since joining Fortis Arbor in 2023 he has advised professionals and families in the UAE on retirement, pensions, protection and estate planning, with a particular focus on British expats. He holds the CISI Investment Advice Diploma.

Darla is the engine room of Fortis Arbor Wealth. She runs client onboarding and administration from start to finish, keeps every plan, policy and deadline on track, and is often the first person our clients speak to. With more than a decade in Dubai’s financial services sector, including eight years at Globaleye, she brings the experience and attention to detail that make everything we do run smoothly.
